Druzy Smoky Quartz Necklace ~ Sterling Silver

This is a Smoky Quartz Druzy wrapped with Sterling Silver wire bezel. The silver bezel secures the unique stone while leaving most of it visible to be enjoyed.  A few spirals bring a bit of whimsy to the piece.  The back has been polished completely smooth. This particular stone is from the Sweet Home Mine in Colorado and has a variety of different sized crystal points throughout.  As a fun little note, a friend saw this stone and exclaimed "Crystal Pizza!"  I'm still giggling about that one!

About the Stone:
Druzy, or Drusy, looks like a carpet of crystal.  Some feel that they represent the beginnings and sparks of ideas and thoughts.  These tiny clusters care the same properties as the crystals they are made up of.  In this case, Smoky Quartz.  This stone helps with overcoming fears as well as boosting courage. The Be Brave collection actually is inspired by this stone and its characteristics.  Smoky Quartz is often connected with cleansing and clearing negative energy. It is said to be grounding and is also a great stone to have with you in the workplace or office. I've always kept one on my desks (and near my computers!).
